Chelsea and Inter Milan are set to hold talks over a potential loan deal for Romelu Lukaku this summer, according to reports.
Even though he only joined the Blues last year, Lukaku could be on his way out of the club and back to his former side ahead of next season.
He had an impressive and promising start to his second stint at Chelsea but failed to have as much of an impact on the side for the remainder of the campaign.

The Blues bought him for a club record fee of around £97.5m, but could part ways with the 29-year-old in the summer window.
According to Fabrizio Romano, both Chelsea and Inter will hold talks in the next few days to discuss Lukaku’s potential return to the Serie A side.
The striker is very keen for a move back to the San Siro this summer, especially considering he won the league title there in the 2020/21 campaign.

However it has been said that such a deal ‘won’t be easy’ to complete considering how much Thomas Tuchel’s side spent on the player last year.
Furthermore, Inter would only be able to sign him on a loan deal.
However, Gianluca Di Marzio has also reported that the Italian side will have to financially contribute to the loan should it happen, and the ‘economic conditions’ will have to satisfy both of the clubs.

Lukaku returned to Chelsea with a bang after he scored 15 minutes into his debut against Arsenal early on last season.
He then scored a brace against Aston Villa and headed in the winner against Zenit St Petersburg to give Blues fans confidence in the striker for the rest of the campaign.
However in an interview with Sky Italia in December, he revealed that he was unhappy with his situation at the club and admitted he wants to return to Inter at some point in his career.
The striker soon apologised to Chelsea fans, but Tuchel dropped him from the squad for their Premier League draw against Liverpool at the start of the year.

Lukaku would soon score two goals in the Club World Cup in February, but his form fluctuated until the end of the season, and he finished the campaign with just 15 goals to his name in 44 appearances.
Reports on Wednesday morning also revealed that he feels as though he is being ‘forced out’ of the club, with a summer departure now looking likely to take place.
