Inter Milan understand that they must pay a fee in order to secure a loan for Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku this summer, according to reports.
This comes as the Belgian is determined to make a return to the San Siro, after a disappointing season at Stamford Bridge.
Lukaku netted 15 goals across the season, which was filled with controversy following an interview with Sky Italia.

Sitting down with the Italian media, Lukaku criticised Thomas Tuchel's tactics at Chelsea and admitted that he dreamed of returning to Inter in the future.
It appears that this 'dream' could be granted, with Chelsea and Inter in talks over how a loan move would work.
The Blues are reported to want at least €20 million to allow their club-record signing to depart in a loan move.

The Serie A side are facing financial struggles, with the Blues not thought to be willing to help the Italian's with the finances.
Lukaku is willing to take a paycut to return to the club where he saw his best spell.
Corriere dello Sport have now revealed that Inter ‘have now understood that to re-embrace Lukaku, it will not be enough to pay his salary, but something will have to be paid for the loan’.
The report has also stated that Lukaku will now fly to London to ‘free himself’ from Chelsea, set for a meeting with the club where he will demand a return to Italy.

Having been allowed to leave the Belgium camp during the UEFA Nations League, the report continues to explain that he has been ‘free from commitments’, with his international side, and he will ‘devote himself to his real big summer goal, which is to return to Inter’.
It remains to be seen as to whether Lukaku will be granted his wish, with Inter set to choose between signing the Belgian or Paulo Dybala.
Tuchel has been spotted joking about the Lukaku situation during a holiday in Italy as an Inter fan revealed: “Tuchel was very kind, we had a good laugh over the Lukaku situation, he ordered two pizzas for himself and his partner, congratulated us on the restaurant and its location. It was lovely.”
