Chelsea target Arsen Zakharyan has all but confirmed a future transfer to Stamford Bridge, speaking to the Russian press.
The 19-year-old has been impressive for Dynamo Moscow, leading to several European sides interested in signing him.
It appeared that Chelsea had won the race to bring the Russian to Stamford Bridge, however there were complications over a move.

Dynamo Moscow confirmed that they had received an offer from Chelsea for their midfielder, Zakharyan.
The offer was sent on the 25th of August and the Blues wanted to show their interest in acquiring the youngster.
However, due to a number of technical reasons, the Russian club confirmed that a deal could not be reached.

They refused to rule out a move in the future, with it believed that issues surrounding his citizenship are the reason why a move fell through.
A deal could still happen in the future, with Dynamo Moscow refusing to rule out a transfer.
Zakharyan has now hinted at a future transfer to Chelsea, speaking to Sports.ru.
When asked about whether he considered changing his citizenship in order to join Chelsea, he confirmed: “It's just talk. I can't comment on it.
“I didn't intend to do anything. I was going to play there, and nothing more."

The Russian continued to discuss the potential move to Chelsea, statting: "This is a question for the club.
“We will coordinate everything with the club. I can't comment on this.”
He continued to hint at his desire to make the move, looking to a January transfer.
“Chelsea should make the transfer, not me,” he admitted.

“I hope everything will be fine. Perhaps in winter."
Furthermore, speaking to Hrach Khachatryan, the 19-year-old continued to admit that there was an offer from Chelsea, in which he accepted.

"There was an offer, but it was impossible to complete a transfer,” he revealed.
“How can I reject that? Of course, I accepted."
“Fabrizio Romano messaged me and asked when I would join (Chelsea).
“I told him I don't know; I'm waiting."
The final hint regarding his transfer to the Blues came from Zakharyan’s teammate Fyodor Smolov, who crashed an interview by chanting ‘Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea!’ after the Blues’ 2-1 win over West Ham.
