Jeff Jarrett has admitted that he would be "excited" to watch a dream WWE clash between The Undertaker and Sting at WrestleMania.
The two wrestling icons have never clashed inside the squared circle and hopes were dashed over the encounter after Sting suffered a devastating neck injury in 2015.
But rumours have surfaced that WWE could try to book the blockbuster showdown for WrestleMania 36 in April.
Jarrett, who has a history with both men inside the squared circle, insisted that he would love to see the match happen.
The 52-year-old WWE legend told SPORTbible in an exclusive interview: "Long before I promoted or wrestled, I was a wrestling fan.
"I grew up a wrestling fan, I've always been mesmerised by much more than just what goes on inside the ring.
"Those two characters, those two personas -- it's a dream match that has never taken place and most people, if not everyone, came to sort of a resting spot several years ago that it would never happen due to Sting's injuries.
"For it to be discussed, it's pretty exciting. Again, I'm putting on my wrestling fan hat and there's so much intrigue to it.
"The short answer is I would absolutely be excited to watch it."
When SPORTbible asked Jarrett who would win the once-in-a-lifetime match, the Hall of Famer responded: "Never bet against The Undertaker at WrestleMania. Never!
"Even if he had a rematch against Brock [Lesnar], never bet against Undertaker at WrestleMania."
Sting, real name Steve Borden, teased last November that he would love to have a "face-off" with The Undertaker in WWE.
But only a month later the WCW icon suggested that he wanted a match with The Undertaker at WrestleMania 36.
The Undertaker, who has made sporadic appearances in recent years, hasn't competed at WrestleMania since his victory over WWE legend John Cena in 2018.
WrestleMania 36 will be held on 5th April at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
