The Undertaker names the only two WWE superstars who were 'never intimidated by him'

The Undertaker names the only two WWE superstars who were 'never intimidated by him'

The Deadman says a pair of WWE Hall of Famers kept their cool in the ring with him

The sight of a monolithic WWE legend delivering a clothesline from hell would be enough to scare the tights off even the hardiest of professional wrestlers.

Standing at 6ft 10in and boasting the most famous win streak in the history of the WWE, The Undertaker has both the size and stature to give opponents pause before entering the ring.

According to the Deadman himself, his reputation and iconic status went before him for opponents who grew up watching him in action and only two WWE superstars were 'never intimidated' by him.

They weren't the biggest athletes but they were renowned characters in their own right and are both in the WWE Hall of Fame.

Speaking on fellow superstar D-Von Dudley's YouTube channel, The Undertaker revealed that D-Generation X upstarts turned WWE mainstays Triple H and Shawn Michaels were the only superstars to work with him as equals.

"[Michaels] was one of my favourite people to work with," Taker told Dudley. "From early on, we always just had incredible chemistry together.

"A lot of people don’t really realise, at this part of my career, a lot of times, the guys that I’m working with are so intimidated by working with me. A lot of them had kind of grown up already watching me, so they were really intimidated working with me."

"When I got to work against people like Shawn or Triple H, it really freed me up to just be Undertaker, right?" continued the Prince of Darkness.

"Because I didn’t have to worry about what they were going to do. I didn’t have to think about thinking for them. They knew exactly how to react and how to pace themselves and do these kinds of things. So it just freed me up to just be Undertaker, and they could just be them because they knew I was going to be there for them."

The Undertaker is a multiple WWE champion and the company's longest-serving superstar. His 21-match streak at Wrestlemania became a fixture of the showpiece event's booking throughout his career and he wrestled in the Wrestlemania main event five times.

He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2022. Having been inducted in 2011, Michaels was recognised again – along with Triple H – when DX became Hall of Famers in 2019.
