John Cena surprised a class of school children in Australia this week when he turned up and read a story to them in class.
Cena is one of the most famous and recognisable athletes in the world, having been a key pillar in the world of wrestling for over two decades.
At 45 years old he is no longer at the peak of his powers, but he does make time in his busy acting schedule to appear in the ring from time-to-time. In the final WWE show of 2022 he kepy up his record of appearing in at least one match every year since he first appeared with the company in 2000.

Charity work is something else close to Cena's heart. The former WWE world champion has granted more wishes for the Make-A-Wish Foundation than any other celebrity in the world.
Cena clearly loves meeting his fans and giving them memories that will last a lifetime, and that's exactly what he did in Australia this week.
The wrestler-turned actor took time out from filming his new movie Ricky Stanicky to visit a school, where he surprised a group of young fans and read them a story. The visit was captured on camera and has gone viral on TikTok.

The teacher tells his pupils that he doesn't want to read the story, and asks for volunteers to do so instead. When none of the children volunteers, Cena steps forward and says he'll do it.
The reactions of the youngsters are priceless, with one young boy close to tears as his hero shakes his hand and introduces himself.
After reading the story Cena took time to answer a few questions from the kids, including 'how many wrestling matches have you taken part in?' and 'do you have a six-pack?'

To latter, Cena replied: "Do I have a six-pack? After 5pm on Friday."
When asked what is the most he's eaten in one meal, Cena said: "I can eat a couple of pizzas if I need to."
Before leaving Cena got the kids to perform his famous 'you can't see me' pose for a group photo, something they'll surely never forget.
