Raphael Varane had to be substituted early during Manchester United's 6-3 defeat to Manchester City last weekend.
The defender has been on fine form so far this season before the match, forming a great partnership with Lisandro Martinez at the back.
However, Raphael Varane had to be substituted towards the end of the first half for Victor Lindelof after he sustained an injury.

Initial reports confirmed that the injury was not expected to be serious, and Erik ten Hag has now issued an official update on the player's fitness.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Erik ten Hag confirmed that although Varane will not play against Omonia on Thursday evening, the player will likely be back for the Premier League clash against Everton.
In case of Raphael [Varane], I have good hope [back soon]," Erik ten Hag said.

Raphael Varane has had fitness problems in the past, and the club will be wary of playing Varane too often and risk aggravating further injury.
Another player who will not feature on Thursday evening is Harry Maguire.
The Manchester United captain suffered an injury while on international duty with England and did not feature in the Manchester derby.

Erik ten Hag said on the captain: "Harry will take a little bit longer" than Varane in terms of recovery.
The Manchester City derby defeat was a hard one to take for the club and fans alike, and Ten Hag recognised this.
"It was a difficult day. We will analyse, it was a reality check, we need to learn from it and carry on," he said.
"You will have setbacks. We beat Arsenal, we beat Liverpool, Sunday we had a bad day at the office.

"City were better, we have to accept that, but we can't accept our unacceptable performance."
