Manchester United had one of their best team performances of the season against Everton in what was a much needed
It did not start so well, with Everton scoring early. But United couldn’t have responded better from a position they have struggled in in recent times.
Antony linked up with Anthony as Martial’s excellent through ball supplied the Brazilian with his third goal in as many league games.

Casemiro made up for his error leading to Everton’s goal with a sublime through ball for Cristiano Ronaldo’s historic 700th club goal in his career.
Here is how UtdDistrict rated the players:
David de Gea - 7/10
A better performance from the Spaniard in which he was more willing to sweep and use his feet in buildup, in a game where United needed it.
Advert
Diogo Dalot - 4/10
Another poor performance from the full back, who has struggled in his last couple of games.
Lisandro Martinez - 6/10
Not his brightest performance, but his fight is such that even in his weaker performances he will always be of value.

Victor Lindelöf - 6/10
Deputised well for Varane in what was a solid performance.
Luke Shaw - 7.5/10
Supremely impressive performance. His quality in possession is ever present, but out of it he showed the fight and intensity that Ten Hag has been crying out for from him.
Christian Eriksen - 7/10

Dictated proceedings nicely in the middle of the park.
Casemiro - 6.5/10
An interesting performance to save the least. Lost the ball for Everton’s opener and missed a big chance. Lost the ball again but won it back immediately and produced a sublime assist for Ronaldo. With more consistent game time and match rhythm the errors should decrease, and United should see a more consistent level.
Bruno Fernandes - 6/10

A huge improvement on last Sunday, not that he could get much worse than that. Occupied better spaces and ran off the ball, which helped United’s attack to function better. Had a goal ruled out for offside.
Antony - 7.5/10
Scored for the third league game running, many are starting to see why Ten Hag wanted him so desperately.
Marcus Rashford - 8/10
Electric, devastating performance from the Englishman. Had a goal dubiously ruled out, which would have been the cherry on top for his performance.
Anthony Martial - 7/10
Picked up an injury in the warm up which led to him being subbed after just 28 minutes. But picked up another assist in those 28 minutes. Praying the sub was just a precaution.
Substitutes
Cristiano Ronaldo - 7/10
Scored his historic 700th career goal, and was unlucky not to have an assist.
Scott Mctominay - N/A
Came on late to help United see the game out.
Raphaël Varane - N/A
Spent all of two minutes on the pitch, but in those two minutes made two crucial blocks and cleared a corner. Happy to see him back so soon.
