Manchester United's third game of pre-season ended in yet another victory for Erik ten Hag's men, with the goals coming from Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho.
It was another dominant performance from United. With lots of impressive aspects against the Premier League opposition, supporters are excited for the new season.
There are building blocks being placed by the Dutch manager, here are the player ratings for the victory against Palace.
David de Gea - 5/10
A quiet first half in goal for United's no.1. Made a solid save at his near post after Malcolm Ebiowei's strike in the first half. Then a great save from a header was followed by a mistake leading to Palace's goal.
Diogo Dalot - 8/10
A very impressive performance. Looking assuring in possession and link-up going forward. Great control and cross to assist the opening goal of the game.
Harry Maguire - 8/10
After being booed in the opening minutes, Maguire hushed the crowd with a very solid game. Great on the ball and made a goal saving block mid-way through the first half.
Victor Lindelöf - 7/10
A solid showing at the back from the Swede. Very assured starting attacks from the back and dealt with Palace's counters well.
Tyrell Malacia - 7/10
In his first start for the club, Malacia looked impressive on the ball and picked up some good positions on the left. Got stuck in defensively. A brilliant crossfield pass with his right foot before Martial's opener.
Advert
Scott McTominay - 7/10
The Scotsman was decent in the middle, with some good movements going forward, helping with the continued impressive play on the right side under Ten Hag.
Fred - 7/10
Another assured performance in the middle of midfield. Showing his tenacious nature to good effect at times and played a beautiful line splitting pass to Martial, who had a shot saved well.
Bruno Fernandes - 7/10
The midfielder was yet again calmer in possession than usual. Some good passes in possession, but maybe should've shown some selfishness in front of goal in the second half when he squared to Sancho instead.
Jadon Sancho - 9/10
Yet again, Sancho looked extremely sharp. The winger is relishing the movement and link-up play available in the team at the moment. Finished very well to get his goal in the second half.
Advert
Marcus Rashford - 8/10
Played a wicked cross which Martial was inches away from tapping in. Then got his goal at the beginning of the second half and involved in the build-up for United's third. Looking more sharp as pre-season goes on.
Anthony Martial - 9/10
Martial continues to be the absolute standout player in pre-season He got his goal, which was taken very well, and also got a very good assist for Sancho. But also, he was making all the runs you'd expect of a top number nine. Link-up play was, again, brilliant. United fans will be begging to see him bring this form into the season.
Substitutes:
Donny van de Beek - 7/10
Involved within minutes of his cameo, with some good movement and then unselfish play to assist Rashford for United's second. Solid in possession afterwards.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka - 5/10
Not much to do on the right after he came on.
Will Fish - 3/10
A sending off after a cynical foul as the last man. Unfortunate as he made some decent passes beforehand.
Alex Telles - 5/10
Can tell that he isn't a centre-back. Put himself and the backline in some trouble at points.
Charlie Savage - 6/10
Won the ball back to start a dangerous United attack. Continued with a good on-ball showing apart from one incident.
Zidane Iqbal - 5/10
The youngster who has stood out on tour so far didn't have much of an impact in this cameo.
Anthony Elanga - 6/10
The winger was decent in possession and ran well at his full-back.
Hannibal Mejbri - 6/10
A fierce shot towards goal after Savage won the ball. Looked eager to impress but United had less of the ball as the team changed mid-way through the second half.
Amad - 6/10
The playmaker was unable to find the pass through to the open left-wing. As always, looked slick with the ball at his feet.
Ethan Laird - 5/10
Came on later than the rest of the bunch and wasn't able to get very involved.
