Marcus Rashford, like everybody else, is entering a new era at Manchester United, and he is excited for what the future holds.
Speaking to the club in an exclusive interview, Marcus Rashford spoke about the first week of training under his new boss and how he feels a change in management style will be beneficial for him and his teammates.
When asked whether the squad is excited by Erik ten Hag’s arrival , United’s number 10 said: “Yeah one hundred percent.

"I think for me, it is just fresh ideas, fresh tactics and a new personality that has been added to the team.
"I am looking forward to working with him but also for us to give ourselves time as well to fit into what he wants us to do and to really feel natural doing it.
“That is what he wants us to do, for it to be second nature doing the things he wants us to do. Those things do take time but it is a challenge we are all looking forward to.”
The part about actions being second nature is one to focus on here, Ten Hag coaches quite strict positional play and places great emphasis on drilling possession patterns, which he is keen to do himself.
His hands-on approach and innovative ideas are what saw his stock rise so high at Ajax, and United decide to go for him.

Rashford gave further insight into Ten Hag’s highly-detailed methods when asked about the first week of training.
“Don't get me wrong, it has been tough, but we have all enjoyed the training sessions and we are mixing it up as well.
"We are not just doing all football and all running, we are doing a little bit of both so it's fun and it's good signs looking forward.
“He is very detailed out on the grass and even in the rules of each game.

"Like I said, it is all fresh and when something is fresh it is good for the mind and good for the body, so we are all looking forward to working with him and hopefully we continue to improve. That is the main thing that we want to do.”
The Englishman touched on the importance of buying into the new coach’s methods in training before Manchester United open their season at Old Trafford.
"Yeah it is a great feeling. To have the first game at Old Trafford is massive and I don't think the lads would have it any other way. It feels like it has been ages since we played our last game and wore the shirt.”
“That game is going to be an amazing feeling, but until then we have to listen to the coach, work hard in training and make sure we are doing our best to be in good condition to win that game, because that is the important thing.

"Come that first game of the season, we have to be ready and give our best version of ourselves.”
He finished off with some comments on how he believes the fans will fully get behind the players & Ten Hag “Everyone is just raring to go and they will be as excited as we are. They will be behind us, behind the manager, behind the staff and just pushing us like they always do. At the start of the season it is important to get off to a good start and being at home gives us a good opportunity to do that. If we are successful, then it will be well deserved after a long training camp.”
