Manchester United have completed their fifth signing of the summer in the form of goalkeeper Martin Dubravka.
The goalkeeper joins Manchester United on loan, with a reported option to buy that turns into an obligation should certain appearance parameters be reached.
The fee is said to be £2 million for the initial loan move.
This signing comes as a result of Dean Henderon’s move to Nottingham Forest on loan, with Erik ten Hag wanting to recruit competition for David de Gea.

Speaking on his move, Dubravka said: “To be joining Manchester United is a special moment in my career and I can’t wait to get started, and help the group achieve its ambitions.
“I am joining an excellent group of goalkeepers with lots of experience in the Premier League, and I know that we will push and support each other to keep our standards at the highest levels. The chance to work with David De Gea, alongside Tom Heaton, is one that I am relishing.
“I’d like to sincerely thank everyone at Newcastle United, and especially the fans, for many great experiences over the past four and a half years. I enjoyed every minute of my time there and made amazing memories to look back on.

"My focus is now on helping Manchester United, and we’ll see what the future holds after I have given my all this season. I am excited to be here!”
One key attribute about Dubravka’s game is his ability on the ball.
Speaking in 2018, he revealed that he sometimes likes to play as a right-winger in training, and mentioned how coaches sometimes ask if he wants to instead become a midfielder.
While it was previously reported that once the deals for Antony and Dubravka were finalised that there would be no more incomings at United, there is now a possibility that the club will move to sign a new right-back before Thursday’s deadline, depending on the future of Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Football director John Murtough commented: “Martin has proven himself to be a top Premier League goalkeeper and his experience and personality will be a great addition to our strong goalkeeping group, alongside David, Tom, and our younger keepers.
"Together, they will create a high-performance environment, with each of them ready to step up and play when called upon.”
Newcastle have an option to recall Dubravka in January should they need to.
Manchester United have also confirmed the signing of Antony on a five year contract with the option for another year.

Neither player will be able to make their debut against Leicester City as the registration deadline comes to soon, but it is likely that we will see the two players in Red for the first time when Manchester United take on Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday.
