Manchester United yesterday confirmed they had agreed a deal for the signing of Casemiro from Real Madrid.
“The transfer is subject to the agreement of personal terms, UK visa requirements and a medical,” a club statement read.
The signing is rumoured to be for around a fee of £60 million and rising with add ons, and is the club’s fourth of the summer.

Casemiro spent almost a decade at Real Madrid, and won everything he possibly could have with the club, including five Champions League titles.
Casemiro was an incredibly integral part of one of the greatest midfield trios of all time alongside Toni Kroos and Luka Modric, who both wrote letters to Casemiro upon his departure.
“We have gained a lot together, but I keep the moments that no one sees,” wrote Modric.

“With the day-to-day work in Valdebebas. And especially with jokes, because you have always been in a good mood, even in times of tension or when there were failures.”
Kroos added to this, saying: “I'm going to miss you. Like an exemplary professional. As a top player. Like a fighter who saved me from several... But, above all, as a good person.”
The two famed midfielders are not the only ones to pay their tributes to the player.
Vinicius Jr, who has become a star at Real Madrid in recent seasons, was one to pay his homage.
Marcelo, one of the most decorated players of all time, also shared a similar sentiment.
The aforementioned Toni Kroos also made the point of the midfield trio never losing a final together – a remarkable achievement.
It is clear how adored Casemiro was in the Los Blancos dressing room, and his impact in the Old Trafford room will be unquestionably positive.
