Bruno Fernandes has a new profession… video director!
A hilarious video emerged on the club website showing the players relaxing on the pre-season plane to Bangkok ahead of the tour in Thailand, with the Portuguese star reveling in team mate Anthony Martial returning from his loan move at Sevilla.
With all the soap opera, thunder and bluster constantly surrounding Manchester United and the situation around Cristiano Ronaldo, who would’ve thought giving Bruno Fernandes a GoPro on an airplane surrounded by teammates would be all it takes to put a smile on fans faces, but that’s exactly what happened.

Fernandes took the camera and gave us a starry tour of a who’s who on the airplane with all of our favorite players getting a 10 second cameo, providing some much needed tongue in cheek humor.
As part of a video on the website for the tour labeled ‘The Tour View’ Scott McTominay was at first filming Man Utd’s new number eight as he introduced the plane and the players, “This is the tour of our airplane, these are our players obviously…” before Mctominay interrupted “That’s enough now” to roars of laughter from the United players on the plane.
Fernandes retorted comically, “McTerminator doesn’t want me to talk huh?”

Then Fernandes took charge of the GoPro beginning by panning the camera to Jadon Sancho saying “Wow this guy’s beautiful huh? He has the drip,” with the Englishman replying “Appreciate that man.”
Mctominay was then seen eating a peach with Fernandes calling him by his nickname again “Mcterminator, he has to eat, the big man has to eat,” with other United players in the background heard saying “He’s always eating!”
We then got to see a glimpse of Nathan Bishop, the young goalkeeper who was signed in 2020, returning from a loan move at Mansfield Town with Fernandes introducing him as “Bishop the man.”
Next, we were treated to seeing the cosy image of Anthony Elanga and Tyrell Malacia donning neck support pillows beaming ear to ear with teethy grins, with Fernandes summarisng, “Some photos for the young kids.”
Before, we saw another two loanees on their return to Manchester United to the delight of Fernandes, first with Amad Diallo as he exclaimed “Amadddd” with the cool Ivorian winger striking a pose showcasing his cool swag wearing a ring and watch.

Next in the video was much-hyped Jimmy Garner back from a successful loan spell at Nottingham Forest to the caption of “Jimmy’s back” as the young former Forest man grinned.
Before veteran Tom Heaton joked about sleeping on the airplane floor “That’s where I’ll be sleeping lad, right on the floor there,” club captain Harry Maguire could be seen next to him smiling.
Diogo Dalot and Alex Telles were next to fall victim to Bruno’s camera, with the Portuguese connection sat together. “Here we have the Portuguese language,” explained the new No.8, with Dalot voicing “‘sup fellas,” as Fernandes took the mick out of Telles movie and series selection: “Series guy, movies, everything.”
Before Fernandes panned to a beaming Luke Shaw and Donny van de Beek sat together nicknaming them “Luke the Shaw and Don the Beek,” equally in good spirits the Dutchman nonchalantly replied “Portuguese Mafia.”

Luke Shaw then questioned Fernandes, asking “You have a new job now no?”, with the playmaker wittily replying: “Yeah, this is the only job I can do that’s why they gave it to me.”
David de Gea was next on screen as he was caught by the camera strolling across the plane with Bruno proudly stating “Look at David de Gea, legend, 11 years at the club.”
Of course, what would a Manchester United joke video be without Fred appearing, as Fernandes poked fun at the Brazilian comfortably sitting with many bottles of water around him: “He has to drink a lot, he needs to drink because he has to run for us.”

The party piece of the video though was reserved for when Anthony Martial was seen sitting alone on the plane watching his laptop with Fernandes thrillingly exclaiming ‘Look who’s back, Anthony Martial is back! He will be back scoring goals.”
In a coy reply, the Frenchman looked at the camera and stated “give me some assists please,” before comedian of the day Fernandes replied: “Yeah I will for sure man you know we have that connection.”
It may only have been a 2 minute video, but after the club and dressing room were torn into and ripped apart for their dressing room unrest and seemingly toxic issues it’s nice to see the players having a laugh and appearing in good spirits, noticeably without Cristiano Ronaldo.
