Manchester United travel to Leicester to take on Brendan Rodgers’ struggling side who currently sit rock bottom of the Premier League.
Erik ten Hag has experienced a mixed start to life at Manchester United. His side have lost two and won two of their opening four Premier League fixtures. Back to back wins against Liverpool and Southampton has given his team some confidence and the United boss will be keen to maintain some good form entering a hectic period of two games per week right up until the World Cup in November.
Today is important and not just for on pitch matters. The transfer window slams shut at 11pm. Whilst many believe United’s business is done, supporters will continue to speculate until the clock ticks past 11.

Fuelling that speculation was Erik ten Hag himself in his Press Conference yesterday when he was asked if Martin Dúbravka would be the end of United’s summer business, he said “I think so. For this window it will be the end. But when there is great opportunity you have to always be alert as a top club.”
Supporters are hoping that ‘great opportunity’ is code for Frenkie De Jong.
For tonight’s opposition, a lack of activity in the transfer market has seen Leicester City’s struggles carry on into this season. The only signing Brendon Rodgers has made this summer is goalkeeper Alex Smithies on a free transfer.

Kasper Schmeichel left the club to move to Nice and Wesley Fofana completed his drawn out move to Chelsea earlier this week for a fee believed to be around £75m.
Leicester supporters will be hoping for positive news tomorrow, moreso off the pitch than on it with deadline day looming.
Here is the latest team news for both Manchester United and Leicester City:
Manchester United
Cristiano Ronaldo’s immediate future looks to be at Old Trafford. A deal hasn’t materialised for the wantaway forward but he is in Ten Hag’s plans and without the distraction of the transfer window being open, he could feature more. When asked if he had spoken with Ronaldo in his Press Conference, Ten Hag replied “Several times, yeah. We are on one page.”

Ronaldo staying could prove to be vital with no timescale set on a return from injury for Anthony Martial. The French forward is still out with the injury he picked up a couple of weeks ago and Ten Hag remains coy on his return date.
Victor Lindelof has returned to training but after a few weeks on the sidelines but he’ll likely be assessed to see if he can play any part against The Foxes.
Casemiro could be in line for his full debut after an impressive cameo against Southampton last weekend.

New signings Antony and Martin Dúbravka are not expected to be registered in time to play.
Leicester City
Wesley Fofana’s confirmed move to Chelsea has given Rodger’s another selection headache after a shaky start in the league.
James Maddison is a slight doubt with a hamstring but is expected to play a part against The Reds. Youri Tielemans has been strongly linked with a move away so if anything materialises on Deadline Day, it would be fair to assume he would play no part in tonight’s fixture.

Ricardo Pereira remains sidelined with a long-term injury which will see him return early next year. Ryan Bertrand also remains out with a knee injury.
Next for Manchester United is the visit of Arsenal to Old Trafford on Sunday where supporters will be hoping to see a debut for Brazilian forward, Antony. And maybe one or two others…
