Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester United’s relationship has gone from fabled love story to toxic relationship as the player continues on his quest to leave the club.
It was reported over a month ago that he wanted to leave the club, and his agent has since been offering him around to Europe’s elite.
Although there was some interest shown by Chelsea’s new owner Todd Boehly, manager Thomas Tuchel decided against the signing and Bayern Munich publicly ruled it out too.

Atletico are reportedly aware that Ronaldo is happy to adjust and lower his wage demands in order to see the move head towards it’s completion.
One group who do not seem happy at the idea of Ronaldo joining Atletico Madrid is Atletico's International Union of Fan Clubs, who have released a statement of “absolute rejection” with regards to the transfer.
"In light of the possibility of signing Cristiano Ronaldo, if it is more than a simple rumour without any basis, we express our absolute rejection of his hypothetical joining of our club," the statement read.
