Rumoured Manchester United midfield target Vitinha of FC Porto is close to joining PSG, with personal terms agreed between the club and player, according to reports.
The Portuguese midfielder was one player that United were seemingly interested in this summer, with Jonathan Shrager mentioning on Friday evening that he was one of three players that the club were focused on purchasing.
It is pivotal for the Reds to reinforce their engine room following departures of Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic.

Frenkie de Jong is one player that United are definitely interested in, and Vitinha seemed to be another.
However, reports on Friday evening have claimed that French club PSG are closing in on a deal for the 22-year-old.
Pedro Sepulveda mentioned that the Ligue 1 champions were conducting a meeting where they discussed whether or not to activate Vitinha's £34 million release clause - something that TalkSPORT claimed that United were considering just days earlier.

Fabrizio Romano added later in the night that PSG had reached an agreement on personal terms with the player.
He also mentioned that talks between the two clubs were in progress.
Following up, Romano said that PSG are closing on the final details to bring the player to Paris.
The Italian journalist finally clarified that Manchester United, in fact, did not have any interest in Vitinha, and never have.
Advert
There was no bid, no talks between the clubs or with the player and there was no mention of the player internally by new manager Erik ten Hag.
These reports would suggest that the club was being used in negotiation tactics yet again.
Manchester United's situation is beginning to frustrate supporters, who are yet to see any incomings following the worst performance from the club in Premier League history last season.
Advert
The club, under the new regime, want to ensure that they are not paying over the price for their transfer targets.
However, this will undoubtably make negotiations and the process to sign a player longer. United cannot afford to miss out on their managers top targets yet again.
Ten Hag seems to want to build a team around Frenkie de Jong in the midfield. So, the approach that United are taking against Barcelona is a risky one.
Advert
If it works out, it will be great. However, it could be catastrophic if that deal falls through and United aren't able to strengthen the midfield well enough afterwards.
