Manchester United will have to chose between signing Lisandro Martínez and Antony this summer, as Ajax are determined to not allow Erik ten Hag to dismantle the team that he created.
That's according to Simon Mullock of The Mirror, who states that the Eredivisie champions will not sell both of the players who were important under the Dutch manager last season.
Antony is an exciting right-winger, something that Old Trafford has not seen in too many years.

Although, Martinez could offer United some defensive strength, as he's able to operate in multiple different positions.
Mostly, he's been used as a central defender, but he could also help solve United's defensive midfield problem, as he was regularly used there under Ten Hag in 2019/20.
Both are players that the Reds are interested in. Reports elsewhere have said that United officials were in Amsterdam on Tuesday to get a deal for the Brazilian winger over the line.

Another player from the Netherlands side that Ten Hag has been after is Jurrien Timber.
However, he seems unlikely to make a move since Louis van Gaal's ultimatum in regard to his World Cup chances.
Mullock's report states that United have ramped up their interest in his Argentinian defensive partner in recent days.
However, the word around Ajax is that they will not let their former manager tear apart the squad that he created during his time in Amsterdam.

The report added that it is likely that Ten Hag will have to chose between the two players for a summer signing at the Theatre of Dreams.
This would undoubtably be a difficult decision for the manager to make, as both players would help solve gaping holes in United's side.
A defensive midfielder and right-winger are two of the priorities at Old Trafford, and they have been for a number of years.

Although, the report also states that United could make Ajax an offer that is too good to refuse for the two players.
Ajax have accepted that they will lose one of the two United targets this summer after Timber's decision to stay put.
However, they don't want to lose both of these players, and that could make things difficult for the Reds in negotiations, especially due to the importance of the Frenkie de Jong deal for Ten Hag.

The manager has told United bosses that the Barcelona midfielder would be a focal point of his team, alongside other potential signing Christian Eriksen, also believing that he will be worth every penny.
