Manchester United have reached an agreement with Dundee United, over the permanent transfer of Dylan Levitt.
The move for Levitt, who joined the United youth system at the age of eight, is the first permanent move away from the club of his career.
Levitt, who spent last season on loan at the Scottish outfit, was highly praised during his spell with the club.

An instrumental part of Dundee United’s Premiership season, Levitt would score five league goals in 25 league appearances.
Three of those goals came in Dundee United’s final five league games, ensuring the side picked up four vital points, ensuring European football for this coming season.
On an individual level, Levitt’s time in Scotland also saw him named Dundee United’s Fans Player of the Year.

Levitt had been due to leave the Manchester side on a free due to his contract coming to its conclusion, however the Red Devils decided to trigger their optional one-year extension in an effort to protect his market value.
Dundee United announced the signing on Thursday evening. The transfer is on a two-year deal and for an undisclosed fee.
The Scottish side reportedly had to fend off competition from several EFL clubs for Levitt’s signature.
One such side was Derby County, who were looking at the Welsh midfielder, before former manager Wayne Rooney departed the club. Meanwhile, Cardiff were also reported as a potential destination for the 21-year-old.
Previous loan spells ahead of the Welshman’s successful spell at Dundee United include him spending time at both Charlton Athletic, and Croatian side NK Istra 1961.

Levitt earned his United debut in 2019, with then Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer impressed with the young midfielder's efforts.
Playing 90 minutes in a 2-1 Europa League loss to Astana, Levitt would fail to make another senior appearance at the club.
Levitt’s time in the United youth system however was highly successful. The now-Welsh international would play a vital role in the Manchester United U18s squad for the 2017/18 season, with the team going on to clinch the North League title.
In recent years Levitt has also cemented his place as a top footballer on the international stage.

First being called up to the Wales squad in May 2019, he would go on to make his international debut the following year.
Since then, Levitt also featured in the Wales squad for last year’s UEFA Euro 2020 tournament, appearing on one occasion as a sub against eventual tournament winners Italy.
With the Welshman keen to secure his place in the Wales squad for this year’s World Cup, playing time will likely be at the forefront of his mind.
