Christian Erikson will make a decision of whether to remain at Brentford next season or join Erik ten Hag's Manchester United on a free transfer.
That is according to reports from Sky Sports, who have said that Antonio Conte's Tottenham Hotspur have dropped out of the race to sign their former midfield player.
Following a period out of football, after suffering a cardiac arrest on the pitch for his country Denmark at Euro 2020, Eriksen made his return by signing for Thomas Frank's Brentford in January.

Everyone aware of the move wished the former Spurs man well at his new club, but few would've really believed how well he has slotted back into Premier League football.
He played 11 matches for the Bees and provided quality in the middle of the pitch whenever he was on the pitch.
Eriksen was a standout in the game between Frank's men and United at Old Trafford, despite coming out on the losing team.
It has been previously reported than Eriksen has received an offer from United, with Ten Hag classing him as a key signing for the Reds, alongside Frenkie de Jong.

The report from Sky adds that with both club's having offered him deals, United's is more financially lucrative than Brentford's.
It also says that the prospect of working with Ten Hag again is an attraction to the Denmark international.
Eriksen trained with the Dutchman's Ajax side to build fitness before his return to football in England at the start of the year.

However, other aspects could impact a possible move to Manchester.
Sources close to Eriksen say that he and his family are comfortable in London and have reservations about moving up north.
Also, with the World Cup around the corner, Eriksen wants to start every game at his club to be sure of a place in Denmark's team in the winter.

This could be more difficult at United, who have Bruno Fernandes and Donny van de Beek as competition for the player.
However, if United are unable to pry Antony away from Ajax, despite the player's determination to join the Reds, Eriksen could be used on the right-side of the attack as he has done previously in his years under Mauricio Pochettino at Spurs.
Brentford will feel in a strong position regarding the transfer, according to Sky, as the player is settled in the area, has strong relationships at the club and does not have money as a priority. However, with the player and his agent keeping their cards close to their chest, the decision that he makes is still something that is an unknown.

United could use with the extra legs in midfield following departures of Nemanja Matic, Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata.
