This Sunday evening, Soccer Aid returns as all eyes descend on the London Stadium for the famous charity match, with a number of ex-Manchester United players in the squads.
Created by singer Robbie Williams and businessman Freddy Shepherd in 2006, the game combines ex-players, athletes, and celebrities for an 11v11 match to raise money for children’s charity UNICEF.
As always, it will be England, managed by Harry Redknapp, vs Soccer Aid World XI, managed by ex-Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, going head-to-head as the World XI look to retain their crown, following a 3-0 victory in last years edition of the game, courtesy of goals from influencer, Kem Cetinay and comedian, Lee Mack.

Furthermore, it has been reported that this year the England men’s team, led by captain Harry Kane and Manchester United skipper Harry Maguire, have donated a sum of money, believed to be just under six figures to Soccer Aid to help support the cause.
Soccer Aid raises money for UNICEF to help provide children around the world with key items such as vaccines, they help to fight malnourishment and help to provide shelter for those affected by crisis.
Additionally, this year every donation made to UNICEF will be matched by Power of Nutrition, who are a charity dedicated to providing nutrition and health to children in need across the globe.
