Lisandro Martinez has won Manchester United's Player of the Month award for August and it was a landslide victory.
The Argentinian defender joined the club this summer and has started every game so far in the Premier League.
Despite team struggles against Brighton and Brentford, Martinez continued to work and was rewarded with two Man of the Match awards in the following games.

He was a warrior against Liverpool, putting his body on the line on many occasions and ensuring the victory was United's.
Then against Southampton, it was another stellar defensive display whilst also showing his on-ball capabilities.
He was put alongside fellow defenders Tyrell Malacia and Raphael Varane in the vote, but won the award convincingly.

This doesn't come as a surprise to many who watched the fixtures. The defenders has already starting winning fans over in such a short amount of time.

"Deservedly so. He's been immense," one fan said following confirmation of his Player of the Month award.
"Was not even a debate. Congratulations the butcher," another tweeted.
"Licha, warrior, what a performance," a third wrote.
The defender will be looking to continue his impressive form in September, where United's first opponents are in the form of Leicester City. The game kicks off at 20:00 BST on Thursday evening.

He will then be reunited with former Ajax teammate Antony as the Brazilian completed his move to United on deadline day.
