Manchester United have been asked to shell out a ridiculous amount of agent fees and signing-on fee if they are to land Adrien Rabiot on a free transfer from Juventus.
Rabiot is currently United’s biggest priority transfer in order to strengthen their midfield options after their awful start to the Premier League season resulting in a defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion at Old Trafford.
The 2-1 loss highlighted the Reds' poor midfield, with Scott McTominay and Fred having large troubles against Graham Potters' men.
According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, the club remains in talks with Rabiot’s mother Veronique to agree personal terms.

Veronique is reportedly asking for a hefty agent fee and a big signing-on bonus for the player as part of his agreement with the Red Devils.
Erik ten Hag is said to have been pushing the club for options in midfield and while they are still heavily involved in discussions with FC Barcelona for Frenkie De Jong.
United are also looking to close deals on other targets.
As of now, the French midfielder is intrigued at the chance to join Manchester United and Juventus are looking to sell him, which makes this deal a pretty straightforward one to handle.

This move from Manchester United comes after they spent chasing Frenkie De Jong in the transfer window up till now.
Rabiot has not made any kind of positive impact at Juventus since joining them on a free transfer from PSG and his mother has always had a knack of creating drama wherever the player goes.
A transfer agreement has been reached with Juventus and while United still march on in their quest to bring in Frenkie De Jong, there is always a chance the Red Devils could sign both players as they desperately need new players in central midfield.

After leaving PSG, Rabiot was heavily in demand with clubs like Bayern Munich and Barcelona chasing him, however, Juventus came forward and handed him a chance to showcase his skills.
But, Rabiot did not work according to their plan in Serie A.
The player also came up with a controversial decision to back out from being included in France’s FIFA World Cup squad in 2018 as he refused to be a back-up option.

France went on to win the World Cup and Rabiot watched his teammates lift the greatest trophy in football.
He was part of France’s squad in 2020 at the European Championship.
Rabiot would instantly upgrade United’s midfield as he is definitely technically and defensively better than most deep lying midfielders Erik ten Hag has in his squad.
