First Tom Brady, now Serena Williams.
After initially announcing her retirement from tennis, Serena Williams has seemingly back-flipped on her decision – well, sort of.
"I'm not retired," Williams said while appearing on the TechCrunch Disrupt panel.

When asked if she'd ever return to the court again, she replied: "The chances are very high."
The prospect of a biblical second coming would have immediately sent tennis fans into overdrive.
But Serena was quick to correct herself, joking: "You can come to my house, I got a court. I got you."

Prior to the US Open, the tennis megastar expressed her desires to finally call time on her legendary career.
In a column for Vogue, the 40-year-old wrote: “I have never liked the word retirement. Maybe the best word to describe what I’m up to is evolution. I’m here to tell you that I’m evolving away from tennis, toward other things that are important to me.”
But since her emotional swan song match, where she lost to Aussie Ajla Tomljanovic in the third round of the US Open, Williams has teased a return to the sport.

Making an appearance on Good Morning America, Williams said: "I mean, you never know. I've just been saying that Tom Brady started a really cool trend."
Of course, she's referring to the most decorated player in NFL history, who had a complete U-turn after announcing his retirement too.
And it seems Serena is feeling a similar way, to a certain degree.
"I did wake up the other day and I went on the court and I was like, 'Oh, for the first time in my life, I'm not playing for a competition and it felt really weird'," she said.

"It was like the first day of the rest of my life, and so far, I am enjoying it. But, I’m still trying to find that balance."
