Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal is widely regarded as one of the best of his generation, particularly for his dominant performances on clay courts.

He turned pro in 2001, aged just 15, and the following year he reached the semi-finals of junior Wimbledon.

In the following years his famous rivalry with Swiss tennis player Roger Tennis player began to develop.

2008 was exceptional for the ‘King of Clay’, with the Spaniard winning a Gold Medal at the Beijing Olympics, and beating Federer to the Wimbledon title in the longest final the sport has ever seen at the venue.

This successful year resulted in Nadal finishing with the Number 1 World Ranking to his name.

In 2010, the Spaniard completed his career Golden Slam by winning all four Grand Slam titles - a historic achievement.

Since then, he has been plagued by injuries, but still became the first player over 30 to finish the year at the top rank in 2017.

After a career glittered with monumental success, what is Nadal’s net worth?

Rafael Nadal Net Worth 2022

It is no surprise that Nadal’s net worth sits at a whopping $220 million, according to celebritynetworth.

This figure puts him as the fourth richest tennis player of all time, behind only Djokovic, Federer and the lesser known Ion Tiriac.

After winning his 21st career Grand Slam title in January 2022, Nadal’s career earnings were pushed beyond $127 million dollars.

In 2016, the Spaniard was one of the highest-paid celebrities in the world, bringing home $40 million dollars from tournament winnings and endorsements.

This is unsurprising when considering Rafael’s close relationships with huge name brands such as Nike, who have designed clothing specifically for him over the years, and Kia Motors.
