The feud between Nick Kyrgios and Bernard Tomic has reached boiling point.
The two controversial Australians traded blows across social media with the rivalry between the two becoming seriously, seriously heated.
The first serve came from Kyrgios last week after a fan claimed that his fellow countryman and rival Tomic was better than him - with the Canberran certainly taking exception to the claim.

Kyrgios responded: “Better in what way? I’ve got a higher career-high (ranking). More money, more wins and give back whenever I can.
“It’s time for BT to just quiet down. He ain’t even playing anymore. I got years left.”
The remarks looked to have made their way to Tomic who posted screenshots of Kyrgios’ quotes to his Instagram and proceeded to fire right back with a vicious backhand.

He mocked the world number 77, saying: “The only logical explanation is that I’m his idol. He’s always been in my shadow growing up.
“That’s why anytime someone mentions my name to him, it gets under his skin.
“He knows he can’t re-write history. The records that I set when I was 16, 17, 18, and 19 — youngest slam quarter-finalist at Wimbledon (since Boris Becker), the biggest tournament in the world.
“He knows he can’t change that, he can’t re-write that and he would love to shut me up if he could, he knows he can’t.

“He knows my style dominates his and he knows he will lose.”
With how often these two find a way to make headlines it's no surprise the two haven’t held back in their quibble.
Kyrgios, never one to back down, fired back with a personal recount of a story between the Queenslander and himself.

He took to his Instagram once again, saying: “HAHA TOMIC let’s not forget the time I paid for your flight home from Shanghai because you had no money.
“Hahahaha re-write history, you are the most HATED athlete in Australia.
“You are right, no one can take over that.”
Both athletes have copped their fair share of hatred in the past, they probably have more in common than they realise.
Tomic had been away from the game for some years before he revealed he would be making a comeback in December last year.

However, he hasn’t been performing too well, failing to make it past the second round in the second tier of the Challenger Tour, with his ranking currently sitting at 418 in the world.
Kyrgios took the chance to laugh at Tomic’s recent misfortunes, posting a screenshot of the Queensladner’s results on his Instagram.
He captioned the story: “Bernard, I didn’t realise it was this bad. I low key feel bad now.
“Hit me up if you need me to help you remember how to play. Geezus.”
Game, set, match, in favour of Kyrgios.
