Stuart Bingham left the Eurosport commentary team in a state of disbelief after he managed to pot the black with his break-off shot.
The 48-year-old, who is currently ranked number 25 in the world, came up against three-time world champion Mark Williams in the opening round of the UK Championship.
After a slow start to the game, Bingham turned things around by winning four consecutive frames to secure a 6-5 win.

But the biggest talking point from Tuesday's match came in the 10th frame, when Bingham potted the black with one of the more unusual break-offs in snooker history.
Neal Foulds, a former professional snooker player, was on commentary duty for the match. "I don’t think I’ve ever seen the black knocked in from the break off before tonight," he said.
Fellow commentator Alan McManus was also in shock. "You think you've seen it all," he laughed. "I've never seen that before, ever. Potting the black off the break. That is incredible."
A foul was called and Bingham dropped seven points as a result, but he managed to win the frame before securing a deserved win.

Here's how fans on social media reacted to the scene.
One said: "I've seen a lot of stuff on a snooker table during my life but I've never seen that before," while another wrote: "That’s one hell of a trick shot!"
A third commented: "Should win the frame if you manage to do that."
A fourth said: "A very interesting incident. Many snooker commentators say that this is the first time they have witnessed such a situation," and a fifth added: "...'Nobody will ever pot the black off the break off.' Stuart Bingham: 'Hold my beer.'"
Speaking after his win, Bingham was highly critical of the table's condition.

"I put it down to the two players in the tournament using Triangle [chalk], and they're out now," he said. "I think the conditions will play a lot better now. When the Triangle chalk gets in the cloth it can change the conditions totally.
"With it being reclothed now, I think we'll be in for a scoring fest from the last 16. You see it at the Worlds, the table plays nice, then you follow Ronnie or Luca [Brecel], and the table plays different, but it's up to them what they do."
Bingham will play Zhang Anda in the second round of this year's UK Championship.
