Fans have praised Rob Walker's interaction with Mark Selby following his first round exit at the World Snooker Championship.
Selby was knocked out by close friend Joe O'Connor 10-6, and stated that he would consider retiring from the game in the close season.
'The Jester from Leicester' is a four-time world champion, and reached the final at the Crucible last year, but has struggled for form since then.

Selby spoke in his post-match media interviews about a 'mental block' that has been affecting him during tournament matches, and has suggested he may play a reduced schedule if he does continue playing next season.
He has also been open about his mental health struggles in recent years, and says that the 'block' has affected his mental health.
Selby's first interview immediately after the game was with Walker, who is the Master of Ceremonies for the tournament and works as an interviewer and commentator for BBC Sport.

The 49-year-old is known for his close relationships forged over many years with players, and is also popular among fans for the energy he brings to each tournament.
At the end of the interview with Selby, Walker said: "Take a good break this summer, and I hope that we see you again with a smile on your face next season. Thanks, fella."
