Spitfire, one of the most remarkable creatures on the planet, has been inducted into the Dock Dogs Hall of Fame.
You've probably see this cute pedigree pup at one time or another, defying the odds of physics by leaping insane lengths and diving into swimming pools.
Yes, it sounds nuts – that's because it is.
A few years back, Spitfire the whippet became an overnight viral internet sensation when E60 did a documentary highlighting his impressive exploits.

Those said exploits include taking a massive run-up, leaping into a pool and catching a hanging toy before touching down.
Incredibly, he has been known to jump as far a 8-feet-6-inches.

When footage of Spitfire in action aired, fans instantly fell in love.
Well, now the legend himself has been awarded for his unparalleled accomplishments.
E60 tweeted: "This weekend, Spitfire the Whippet was inducted into the Dock Dogs Hall of Fame. One of the few dogs on earth that can fly. Good boy, Spitty!"

And when it comes to comparing him with other sporting icons, he's up there with the GOATs.
In the original video posted by E60, the narrator says: "He's like the Michael Jordan of dog diving.
"Tom Brady, Tiger Woods, LeBron James. I mean, he's kind of like Babe Ruth. No one can touch him."
A Hall of Famer, Spitfire
