Rob Cross refused the request of a fan, to sign his shirt, after realising what the supporters top was, telling him exactly how he felt.
Former world champion Cross was playing at the European Open in the German city of Leverkusen this weekend, along with a stacked field.
The 32-year-old was hoping to come away with his first win on the European Tour, despite winning the world title five years ago, and the fourth seed defeated Ryan Joyce and William O'Connor on the way to the quarter finals.

In the last eight he met Ricardo Pietreczko and, on the way to the oche for the match, he was asked by a fan in the crowd to sign his shirt.
Cross stopped for a moment, and looked like he would fulfil the request, only to realise the shirt was the green worn by rival Michael van Gerwen, saying, "I won’t sign that s**t," before fist bumping the fan and walking off, as you can see below.
The moment didn't seem to phase the Pembury born darts star, who went on to defeat Pietreczko 6-5, which included a 140 checkout at 2-2 in the tight affair.

However, it wasn't enough for Cross to end his run without winning on the European tour, as he went down to Dirk Van Duijvenbode in the semi-finals.
In turn, the Dutchman then lost to Gerwyn Price in the final, with the Welshman following up two wins in-a-row in the Premier League with the European Open.
It's a complete contrast to how the 38-year-old crashed out of the PDC Worlds Championships earlier in the year, when he arrived on stage with the most comically oversized headphones ever.
At that point he was hardly tapping into his 'Iceman' moniker, as he seemed to completely lose the plot in a loss to Gabriel Clemens.

On his green famous green shirt, Van Gerwen has previously said, "The green shirt is part of me. Everyone knows me in green.
"Sometimes when I’m walking in the street people stop me and say ‘I didn’t recognise you without your darts shirt’.
"It’s not that I picked the green colour just that I used it once and felt comfortable. It’s not even my favourite colour! My favourite colour is blue."

With MvG being so synonymous with the colour, it's no wonder Cross didn't want to sign the shirt of a man who claimed recently he was too 'boring' a player to be in this year's Premier League.
