Olympic diver leaves viewers speechless over his choice of outfit at 2024 Games

Olympic diver leaves viewers speechless over his choice of outfit at 2024 Games

Olympic diver Jules Bouyer hasn't even competed yet but he's certainly caught the eye.

An Olympic diver has caught the eye without even taking to the springboard yet.

Jules Bouyer is to compete on home soil at the Paris Olympics on Friday 2 August, participating in the men's synchronised final alongside teammate Alexis Jandard.

He then returns to action in the individual three-metre springboard event next week.

It's the 22-year-old's first Olympics and he qualified after finishing fifth at the 2024 World Diving Championships in Doha, Qatar.

But there's already a buzz surrounding Bouyer without even seeing his aquatic skills.

The Junior European and World champion is signed to Ford Models in Paris and his handsome looks haven't gone unnoticed.

But at the same time, a picture of his trunks has gone viral. The diver can be seen wearing the smallest shorts going.

And one angled showed every bit of his package in the white, red and blue speedos.

One couldn't help but react, writing: "Those Speedo’s are working overtime at this point."

Another said: "I just really hope his speedo is getting paid time and a half."

A third added: "That suit is BARELY containing his massive Olympic medal."

A fourth commented: "Oh that side profile….

Bouyer trains out of the Lyon Plongeon Club and has been there since the age of six.

Bouyer has been performing well in recent years and claimed silver European Diving Championships in Rzeszow last year.

He and partner Jandard earned a bronze medal in the mixed team at the World Championships and they also bagged gold in the European Championships in the 3m springboard synchro in Belgrade.

Bouyer has 152,000 followers on his Instagram page but something tells us his follower count is about to experience a monumental increase once he makes his Olympics debut.

His trunks could well overshadow the lovely design displayed by a man referred to as 'Bob The Cap Catcher' when he jumped in to retrieve American swimmer Emma Weber's lost cap.

Ahead of the women’s 100m breaststroke prelims, he stole the show with his snazzy shorts and impressive dive.
