Gary Neville responded after Prime Minister Rishi Sunak congratulated Luke Humphries on his World Darts Championship final win over Luke Littler.
Sunak, who is the MP for Richmond, Yorkshire, took to X (Twitter) last night after 'Cool Hand Luke' completed a thrilling 7-4 win over his 16-year-old opponent Littler.
Humphries went 4-2 down, and survived match darts to go 5-2 down, but roared back in sensational fashion to win five consecutive sets.

It is the 28-year-old's first World Championship triumph, to add to the Grand Slam of Darts, Players Championship Finals and Grand Prix trophies he won in 2023.
After the match, Humphries was congratulated by Sunak, who wrote: "Congratulations Luke, a great win tonight.
"What an incredible final to end a historic championship.
"I know that Luke Humphries and Luke Littler will be leading the sport for years to come."

Neville, a staunch critic of the Prime Minister and the Conservative Party, simply responded to Sunak's post with a series of laughing emojis.
It is the Prime Minister's first known social media post about darts, and he has never previously commented publicly about the sport.
Humphries did reply as part of a general post to his supporters, writing: "Thank you - to be part of the event and to win the World Championship.

"It is hard to put into words how I feel at this moment, but a truly amazing feeling which I shall never forget and the unbelievable support I have received will stay with me forever."
Meanwhile, at the end of December, Southampton fan Sunak attended his side's 2-1 win over Plymouth - and manager Russell Martin's reaction to being asked whether he'd like to meet the PM went viral.
He told BBC Radio 5 Live: "He might have come down, but I have no interest in saying hello. How's that for honesty?
"I hope he enjoyed himself, just like anyone who comes here, I hope they enjoy themselves. I have no interest [in talking to him] because I'm a football manager.

"I'm not sure we're aligned on too much politically but I know he's a fan and I hope he enjoyed watching the team.
"I'm sure some people would be excited about him being here, but we had a job to do and we were here to win a football match and we did."
