Travis Kelce has become one of the most famous public figures in America since he began dating Taylor Swift. And the NFL star has found that his elevated profile has brought lifestyle challenges.
A three-time Super Bowl winner, the Kansas City tight end was already a bona fide star in the NFL and one of the most decorated players of all time in his position.
But since his relationship with the most famous musician on the planet, his fame has risen to new levels.

When his older brother, Jason ā who was a Super Bowl winning offensive lineman for the Philadelphia Eagles prior to his retirement in 2023 ā was a guest on Shaquile O'Neal's podcast last year, he revealed how Travis had to move house to find a degree of privacy.
"He had to completely move out of his house," Jason said. "People were just staying by his house. I mean, safety reasons."
But even after Kelce had moved into a new, $6 million mansion ā which includes six bedrooms, six bathrooms and more than 16,000 square feet of new living areaĀ āĀ in October, he still didn't have total privacy, as Jason revealed.

"In the first day that he moved into the new house, a gated community, somebody knocks on the back door, a window, of the house," the older Kelce brother said.
Kelce was also the victim of a spate of break-ins targeting NFL players last year. Thieves broke into his Missouri home and stole jewellery and $20,000 in cash. The incident led to the Chiefs star and the pop idol staying away from Kelce's house for a time while they increased their personal security.
"We're still learning," Jason told O'Neal. "We've always been big in the football world, right? Travis especially. The Taylor world and the pop culture world, that's a whole different level. It's just an added level, a new demographic that wasn't there before."

O'Neal, who has been a hugely recognisable public figure since the 7ft 1ins basketball star broke into the NBA in the early 1990s, offered some words of advice for the Kelce brothers.
"The key is to stay righteous," O'Neal said. "For example, people take pictures of me all the time. They ain't doing it, right? So a lot of times, they take the pictures because they're trying to up their Instagram or whatever, they're trying to sell a story.
"I've been watching you and your brother a long time. I could tell you're good, wholesome people.
"Just tell 'em, always keep your head on a swivel, now, because there's going to be some crazy. But if you're not doing nothing, there's nothing to hide."
