Tom Brady was forced to apologise to Gisele Bundchen after ‘breaking a divorce rule’ during his Netflix roast.
The former NFL quarterback announced his retirement from the sport for a second time in February 2023. During 23 seasons in the league, he won seven Super Bowl titles, five Super Bowl MVP awards and three regular season MVP awards, and is widely acknowledged as the NFL GOAT.
Following retirement, Brady was the subject of an all-star celebrity roast special, which aired on Netflix earlier this year.

Kevin Hart hosted the event, which included many celebrities in attendance and featured jokes about Spygate, Deflategate, OJ Simpson and Brady’s record against New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning.
Numerous jokes were also made about Brady’s divorce from the 43-year-old Gisele, and her new relationship with jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente, that instantly went viral.
But Brady reportedly had to apologise to his ex-wife following the roast, because they had a rule not to criticise each other as part of the break-up.

A source reportedly told US Weekly: “Gisele and Tom had a ‘no disparaging remarks’ rule when it came to speaking about each other or their marriage and divorce. She is definitely offended and upset about the comments made at the roast.”
Brady and Gisele have two children together, who were ‘off-limits’ for the roast. But Gisele apparently thought her new relationship should also not have been part of the show, even though she acknowledged that Brady would not know what was being said ahead of time.
The report continues: “ She is aware that it comes with the territory of a roast but didn’t think there were going to be that many remarks made about her and especially her new relationship.

“She thinks her new relationship should have been off-limits. Tom did reach out to Gisele to apologise to her.
“They are cordial and only communicate about the kids.”
Since retiring as a player, Brady signed a $375m contract with Fox Sports to be their new colour commentator.
He has had a steep learning curve as part of his new role, and came under fire from fans earlier this season for using a controversial slur to describe Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen on a live broadcast.
