Steph Curry is the latest NBA star to be asked to weigh in on the GOAT debate.
Whether Michael Jordan or LeBron James is the greatest to ever play the sport of basketball is the argument that is never likely to be settled.
James, now 39 and playing alongside son Bronny for the LA Lakers, is the league’s highest scorer, while Jordan has six NBA titles and five MVP awards to his name.

Golden State Warriors point guard Curry is one of LeBron’s main rivals, and the pair have won four NBA Championships apiece.
So it’s perhaps no surprise that Curry was asked for his views on who is the true GOAT.
But he insisted there is no accurate way to compare the different eras, meaning it’s impossible to pick one player over the other.

"I ascribe to the mindset that there are multiple GOATs," Curry told Willie Geist on Today.
"And I hate that, it's not a cop-out answer, but it's so hard to compare eras."
Curry isn’t expecting the debate to stop anytime soon – and it looks like he enjoys the discussion around the NBA’s greatest names.
He added: "And getting into that conversation of 'oh if you put Michael in this era or if you put LeBron in that era,' it's kind of unfair. It's a great barbershop debate, and it's something that'll never stop until the end of time.”

While Jordan and LeBron are the two players most often held up against each other for the GOAT title, former Brooklyn Nets General Manager Bobby Marks recently insisted Curry deserves to be ranked in second place.
"I actually think Steph Curry is the second-best player of all-time, right behind Michael Jordan,” said Marks.
"Curry has this instinct, what I saw with Jordan, where any time he has the ball, you think it's going to go in. He is a threat offensively, I think we have three or four more years of Curry in his prime right now.

"I would put Curry ahead of LeBron James right now, as far as the number two guy behind Michael Jordan."
The Warriors take on the Lakers on Christmas Day (1am Boxing Day in the UK).
