UFC 300 promises to be a blockbuster card after Dana White teased an event that would blow people's minds. Here's how the 'insane' card could look like ahead of the show next year.
UFC 100 featured Brock Lesnar, Georges St-Pierre and Michael Bisping while UFC 200 boasted superstar names in Daniel Cormier, Anderson Silva and Amanda Nunes.
UFC 300 has some way to go to top the promotion's previous landmark extravaganzas. But if White's promise is anything to go by, then next April's show could be the biggest event the company has ever seen.
"You want to build these amazing cards that make people lose their minds, but there’s also so much more to it with a 300," he told TNT Sport. "There’s this whole what is the feel of the show going to be. We put on a live event and a television show, too, and what are we going to build around the event?

"So, there’s a lot more that goes into it than just the card, but what you can expect is the first prelim of the night for you to be going like, 'Holy sh*t, this is the first prelim of the night? This is insane. This isn’t even right. These two shouldn’t be on the first prelim of the night.'
"That’s how good 300 is going to be."
So, who could feature on UFC 300? Well, we've decided to play matchmaker and build a somewhat realistic fight card that White himself could use.
Topping UFC 300, Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler. The 'Notorious' remains the biggest draw in the company and what better way for him to make his highly-anticipated return to the famed Octagon than at UFC 300.

McGregor hasn't fought since July 2021 having suffered a nasty ankle injury against Dustin Poirier, but he's recovered and is raring to go.
The Irishman's comeback fight coupled with the monstrous setting of UFC 300 is a recipe for a massive box office success. Book it, Dana.
Now, it wouldn't be a mega event without a couple of UFC title fights. We're proposing not one but THREE. There is precedent as UFC 205, UFC 214, UFC 217, UFC 245, UFC 251, UFC 259 and UFC 261 all featured a trio of championship contests.

The first of three title fights we're suggesting is a BMF title match-up between belt holder Justin Gaethje and Benoit Saint-Denis, who put on an ultra-violent performance to beat Matt Frevola at UFC 295 and called out 'The Highlight'.
The second is a champion vs. champion showdown between Alexa Grasso, the UFC women's flyweight champion, and Zhang Weili, the UFC strawweight champion.
The third and final title fight should be Alex Pereira against former champion Jamahal Hill, who never lost his title in the cage.
That leaves one spot left on UFC 300 - the main-card opener. That privilege should go to a pair of UFC legends in Miesha Tate, who fought in the main-event of UFC 200, and Holly Holm. They, of course, fought at UFC 196, where Tate submitted Holm to win the UFC women's bantamweight title. A rematch of a classic would be the perfect way to open UFC 300.
Here's how UFC 300 could look like:
UFC lightweight - Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler

One thing's for sure... UFC 300 is going to be a must-watch card. Don't miss it.
