Sean Strickland and Dricus Du Plessis' reported purses have been revealed ahead of their huge championship showdown at UFC 297.
Strickland defends his UFC middleweight title against Du Plessis in the main-event of UFC 297 in Toronto, Ontario.
It's the first defence of his 185lbs belt following his stunning victory over Israel Adesanya at UFC 293 last year.

As for the South African fighter, he competes for UFC gold for the first time in his career, having beaten the likes of Darren Till, Derek Brunson and Robert Whittaker.
Strickland could walk away from Canada with $1 million as he's expected to earn a base pay of $500,000, and an additional $42,000 via incentives, according to Sportskeeda.
With pay-per-view points now available for the UFC champion, he's set to pocket a portion of the PPV revenue.

Du Plessis, on the other hand, is set to earn a base pay of $350,000, with $32,000 in incentive pay.
Strickland and Du Plessis could bag even more money if they manage to secure a performance-related bonus at UFC 297.
Despite coming to blows at UFC 296 last month, the American insists his fight against Du Plessis isn't personal.

"It was never f*cking personal," he said at the pre-fight press conference. "You had the cuck Sean O’Malley say some stupid sh*t he knows nothing about. I go hard on everybody, you guys. You don’t think I deserve a little sh*t? I go hard on all you motherf**kers. I’m proud of the guy. You don’t see me lose character often. This motherf**ker got me."
He then asked Du Plessis if he wanted to promise a fight till the death to which his opponent accepted.
"Dricus can I get an agreement to the f**king death?" Strickland asked before adding: "To the f**king death. Yeah. I goddamn respect him for that."
