Michael Bisping calls fan a 'd***head' after 'disrespectful' question to Alexander Volkanovski ahead of UFC 304

Michael Bisping calls fan a 'd***head' after 'disrespectful' question to Alexander Volkanovski ahead of UFC 304

Alexander Volkanovski had a brilliant response.

Michael Bisping called out a fan for asking Alexander Volkanovski a disrespectful question during a fan Q&A ahead of UFC 304.

The stacked UFC 304 is just hours away as the card boasts not one but two huge titles bouts, featuring two superstar Brits defending their championships.

Tom Aspinall defends his interim UFC heavyweight belt against Curtis Blaydes while Leon Edwards puts his UFC welterweight title on the line against Belal Muhammad.

On Friday, the UFC 304 combatants weighed in and ahead of the fighters tipping the scales, Bisping was joined by former UFC featherweight king Volkanovski and Michael 'Venom' Page for a fan Q&A.

And during the fan Q&A, a person angered Bisping with a question that was asked to the Australian.

A fan asked: "How did that head-kick feel from Islam Makhachev?

Of course, he's referencing Volkanovski's crushing first-round defeat to Makhachev, having replaced Charles Oliveira on short notice.

To his credit, 'The Great' took the question well as he replied: "If felt real good," he said sarcastically, before adding: "Wait, wait, wait... what head-kick? I don't remember a thing... what happened?!"

Bisping then chipped in, branding the fan a 'd***head'.

Volkanovski, who is on a two-fight losing skid, hasn't fought since surrendering the UFC featherweight title to Ilia Topuria, who scored a devastating second round victory at UFC 298 in February.

During the UFC 304 fan Q&A, the 35-year-old expressed his desire to run it back with Topuria and said he's got 'itchy knuckles' as he eyes a swift return to the Octagon.

He's 1-3 in his last four fights, having previously won 12 consecutive fights in the UFC.

He has victories over the likes of Max Holloway (x3), Yair Rodriguez, Brian Ortega, Jose Aldo and Chad Mendes.

Volkanovski will be looking to return to the win column in his next fight before earning a shot at UFC gold.
