Jon Jones breaks silence with cryptic post after Tom Aspinall's stunning KO win at UFC 304

Jon Jones took to social media to react Tom Aspinall's call out following his victory over Curtis Blaydes at UFC 304.

Jon Jones posted a cryptic message on social media in reaction to Tom Aspinall's call out following his victory over Curtis Blaydes at UFC 304.

Aspinall scored a sensational win over Blaydes, putting him away in just one minute of the very first round to defend his interim UFC heavyweight title.

Speaking to Daniel Cormier inside the Octagon, he called out Jones, who is the current undisputed UFC heavyweight champion.

"Hello Jon. I have nothing against you personally, but I just think I'm better than you," he said. "I just know that I can beat you in a fight. So, I'm coming for it."

During his post-fight press conference, Aspinall doubled down on his challenge to Jones as he called himself the 'best in the world'.

"Jon’s the undisputed champion, but I’m the best in the world, if that makes any sense," he told reporters, including SPORTbible. "We know what Jon’s doing.

"Jon was there, crossing his fingers and toes tonight hoping I’d lose to Curtis, let’s not bullsh*t about it. He posted about it loads anyway that I’m going to lose to him.

"That didn’t happen, so that’s the fight I want next."

Well, Jones caught wind of his rival's call out and issued a cryptic response.

On X, he wrote: "Supply and demand at its finest, I love it."

Jones is set to return to action against Stipe Miocic, which is tentatively scheduled to headline UFC 309 in New York City, New York.

Jones vs. Miocic was supposed to headline UFC 295 last November until 'Bones' was forced to pull out after he tore a pectoral tendon off the bone during a training session.

Of course, Aspinall replaced Jones as he fought Sergei Pavlovich for the interim UFC heavyweight title, which he won following a stunning 69-second victory.

He recorded the first defence of his interim championship at UFC 304 as he continues to call for a showdown against Jones.
