Joe Rogan recorded podcast episode with guest that has NEVER been aired because 'it got so off-track'

One episode of Rogan's podcast has never been released publicly.

Joe Rogan has recorded an episode of his podcast that has so far never been aired to the public - because it 'got so off-track'.

The UFC commentator's podcast, 'The Joe Rogan Experience', has ran for 15 years since it was founded in 2009.

Rogan signed a 10-year deal worth 'up to $250 million' with Spotify last year, with the podcast being one of the most popular in the world.

Episodes have included the likes of Donald Trump, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Mike Tyson, while he also has a spin-off series based entirely around the UFC.

He has recorded over 2,200 episodes of the podcast, which each cover specific issues - and one episode got so heated that Rogan had to publicly apologise to the guest on Instagram.

But one episode went off the rails completely, forcing the UFC commentator to scrap plans to publish it on podcast networks and YouTube.

In early 2023, Rogan reportedly recorded a podcast episode with Randall Carlson, an architectural designer, and the geologist and inventor Malcolm Bendall.

The main point of discussion was surrounding Bendall's alleged creation of a controversial plasma technology system.

However, the episode got heated when the discussion centred around a certain point of controversy surrounding the system - and Rogan was forced to postpone plans to release the show.

It has never been released to this day, and while Rogan has since hosted epiosde involving Carlson, he has not invited Bendall back to the show.

In an interview on the Shawn Ryan Show in April 2024, Carlson explained: "Myself and Malcolm sat down, and Jamie [Vernon, producer] had found this stuff from the early 90's and early 2000's online where it goes back to this controversy, where they were trying to get the license away from Malcolm.

"I had this slideshow we had put together, and Joe was looking at paperwork before we came in, and he knows nothing about this except what he's seeing is trying to portray Malcolm as a religious nut.

"So we went on the show, and it got contentious, and if it ever airs you'll see me constantly trying to steer the conversation. But they [Rogan and Bendall] were going at each other.

"When it was over, Joe calls me aside, and I'm already thinking about the ramifications.

"But he said, 'Hey, is it ok with you if I sat on this for a while, while I figure it out?'

"And I said, 'Yeah, have it as long as you want'. And so it has never aired, which is fine with me because it got so off-track."
