Fans are convinced tech billionaire Elon Musk was 'laughing at memes' as he sat next to US president-elect Donald Trump at UFC 309.
Musk joined Trump at Saturday night's event in New York alongside House of Representatives speaker Mike Johnson and soon-to-be secretary of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
The 53-year-old, who is one of the wealthiest people in the world with an estimated net worth of $314 billion, publicly backed Trump's campaign to become president.

In fact, he was recently tasked with leading the new Department of Government Efficiency [Doge] with former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.
“Elon, what a job, what a job he does,” Trump said in his first major speech since winning the White House. “He’s great, he happens to be a really good guy. You know, he likes this place. I can’t get him out of here.”
Musk has been a constant presence throughout the presidential race and on Saturday night, he joined Trump at the much-anticipated UFC 309 event in New York.
Here, the Tesla CEO could be seen 'scrolling on his phone' during the event, which brought plenty of reaction from fans on social media.

One said: "Elon put his phone away like his grandma caught him texting during thanksgiving," and another commented: "Trump told him put the phone down lmao."
A third wrote: "Watching Elon laughing at memes on his own app is wholesome af."
A fourth said: "Is X more interesting than UFC?" while a fifth added: "Trump giving Elon the 'pay attention' point at the end."
Musk himself replied to the footage, saying: "I’m watching myself watch this [laughing emoji]."
Earlier on in the night, Trump received a rapturous reception from fight fans as he was flanked by Musk.

Trump made his way to the front row and, after performing some signature dance moves to campaign song 'YMCA', he bumped into UFC commentator and popular podcast host Joe Rogan.
Rogan recently claimed that people in the entertainment industry thanked him for endorsing the president-elect.
"There’s a lot of that out there," he said. "There’s a lot of people that don’t speak their mind. Do you know many artists that have reached out to me that are like f---ing hippies, man, like artists, like musicians, comedians that thanked me for endorsing Trump because they can’t do it?"
