UFC fighter Michael Chandler has revealed the one promise that Donald Trump made to him before his win in the US presidential election.
On Tuesday, Americans cast their votes to elect the 47th President of the United States, with Trump and Kamala Harris the candidates representing the Republican and Democrat parties respectively.
After hours of counting, former President Trump was re-elected having achieved more electoral votes than Harris and he will return to the White House in January.

But before he does that, UFC lightweight Chandler has revealed that Trump has pledged to fulfil one promise that he made ahead of the election this week.
After a long saga waiting to fight Conor McGregor, Chandler is finally stepping back into the octagon next weekend for a rematch against former lightweight champions Charles Oliveira at Madison Square Garden.
And before the fight, the American has revealed that Trump promised him that he would attend the bout should he be victorious in his bid to once again become President.

Chandler told TMZ Sports: "He (Trump) said, 'I'll either be there on Nov. 16 because we won the election, or if I lost, I'll be depressed and I won't show up.'
"Obviously, he won the election, so it sounds like he's going to be there.
"I will have the American flag on my person, and it'll be an honour to go out there, get my hand raised, at the world's most iconic arena, in front of our president-elect.
"It's going to be a good night at Madison Square Garden."

Trump has attended several UFC events in recent years and is outspoken about his love for the sport.
After it became clear that he had won the 2024 Presidential election, he spoke about his opinions on the UFC as he stood alongside the organisation's CEO and President Dana White, who is an outspoken supporter of Trump.
Speaking on Tuesday, Trump said: "Dana started the UFC and no one wanted to give him their ears because they said 'this is a rough sport, a little rough.'

"But I helped him out a little bit and I went and I said 'this is the roughest sport I've ever seen!'
"But I began to like it and nobody has done a better job in sports and it's become one of the most successful sports enterprises."
