Conor McGregor has teased a new date for his UFC fight against Michael Chandler, having spoken to Dana White.
The blockbuster showdown between McGregor and Chandler was supposed to take place at UFC 303 in Las Vegas last month.
However, McGregor was forced to pull out as he explained the reason behind his withdrawal.

But the 'Notorious' is set to return to the famed Octagon this year as he confirmed a fight date for 2024.
He also revealed that he has held talks with White over a new date, adding it's 'looking good' in a promising update.
Responding to Chandler on X about the assassination attempt of Donald Trump, McGregor replied: "I talked to Dana today about our new date, all looking good! 24’ for sure."

Where could McGregor vs. Chandler land in 2024? Well, according to Ariel Helwani, the Sphere event, which is scheduled for September 14, is unlikely.
The combat sports reporter suggests the UFC will stage McGregor's clash against Chandler in December, with Jon Jones vs. Stipe Miocic in the works for the promotion's New York card in November.
"At this point, if I had to put money on Conor vs Chandler, if I had to, and this is not me reporting it, so don't go crazy. But the way the wind is blowing at this juncture, it seems to be December," Helwani revealed. "I don't think they are going to create a date. If I had to, this second. And then, like I said.

"There will be no chance Conor and Chandler will fight at the Sphere, it's just too expensive, and Conor commands too much money."
McGregor hasn't fought since his crushing defeat to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 back in July 2021.
He's on a two-fight losing skid, having lost back-to-back bouts to Poirier, who also beat him at UFC 257.
