A blockbuster clash has been mooted for this year as Dana White is hellbent on matching his heavyweight champions against each other.
Speaking on a recent episode of his podcast, Rogan revealed that Jones is demanding a whopping $30 million to face Aspinall.
Veteran combat sports reporter Helwani has given his insight on Rogan's claim, suggesting the UFC legend's supposed demand is 'cheap' compared to what the top heavyweight boxers are earning.

"I mean Jones was asking for big bucks when he was trying to fight Francis Ngannou," he explained on The Ariel Helwani Show.
"Do I know if it's exactly $30 million... no, am I surprised by that number, no... if you compare what the top heavyweights are getting in boxing that's actually quite cheap to be honest."
Helwani then argued that the UFC would still stand to make a 'massive profit' if they gave Jones a $30 million purse, referencing the gate receipt and pay-per-view revenue.

"If the UFC pay Jon Jones $30 million and and they pay Tom Aspinall $5 million, let's just say... they're still going to make a massive profit off this fight from the gate to the pay-per-view to everything involved," he added, before referencing Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov.
"They're still going to make a massive profit so there's nothing really to worry about there it would be a big number it wouldn't be the biggest number Conor [McGregor] has made more Khabib [Nurmagomedov] has made a lot of money as well I don't know if it's quite $30million."
The 37-year-old American returned to action when he defended his UFC heavyweight title against Stipe Miocic while the Brit hasn't fought since his destruction of Curtis Blaydes last summer.
