A journalist who conducted a recent interview with Conor McGregor has spoken out after a worrying clip of the UFC fighter went viral on social media.
Fans have voiced their concerns for McGregor after he appeared uncomfortable during the interview to promote the release of the film Road House.
The former two-weight UFC champion made his Hollywood debut in Amazon Prime Video's remake of the classic 1989 action film, starring in the new version alongside A-list actor Jake Gyllenhaal.

The film was released to the public on Thursday and has been met with mixed reviews.
McGregor, who hasn't fought since breaking his leg against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264, put his return to the octagon on hold in order to promote the film – embarking on a huge worldwide promotional tour ahead of its release.
As part of those obligations, McGregor and Gyllenhaal sat down with Sports Illustrated to discuss his acting debut.

Speaking about working alongside Gyllenhaal, McGregor was highly complementary of his co-star.
"Jake's a consummate professional, 75 movies made. I'm blessed to have entered into the movie alongside him. He was patient with me, he gave me guidance, and I just took it," he said.
"You know, we have a good rapport on set. He has 75 movies made, I have 75 barfights made and that’s it, we had a good back and forth."
However, McGregor's body language during the interview concerned UFC fans, with the 35-year-old appearing tired throughout and at times, shrugging his shoulders.

"Christ that's one of worst I've seen him. Can't stop twitching and shrugging," posted one concerned fan on X.
"Man I like Conor hope he is okay."
While another wrote: "Jake looks genuinely concerned for Conor here. Sad to see."

The reporter who conducted the interview for Sports Illustrated, Robin Lundberg, has now spoken out.
"I did this interview. I was actually expecting to only talk to Jake when I went in. Conor was certainly cordial but I do hope everything is ok with him," Lundberg posted on X.
The interview raises doubts over whether McGregor is ready to make a return to the octagon this summer.
He is expected to face Michael Chandler in his first fight since 2021, with McGregor himself claiming "all systems are go" on a return to MMA.
