The PFL Europe season reaches its climax in Dublin this Friday with an insane card and a huge amount of money up for grabs with four PFL Europe Championship fights taking place.
In the Light Heavyweight Championship battle, London born Simeon Powell takes on ‘The Gorilla’, Jakob Nedoh from Slovenia. The winner will not only secure the PFL Europe Championship but will also win a life-changing $100,000.
Powell defeated Spaniard Daniel Ladero by unanimous decision to clinch his place at the finals in Dublin whilst Nedoh beat Anthony Salome by TKO in the other semi-final.
Also taking place at the 3Arena in Ireland is the Women’s Flyweight Championship bout as Dakota Ditcheva faces Valentina Scatizzi. Former British Muay Thai champion Ditcheva has impressed so far in the PFL, winning all nine of her bouts. The latest came in the previous round against Cornelia Holm where Ditcheva put on a masterclass to win via TKO.
Representing Cork, John Mitchell will be vying for the Lightweight Championship when he takes on Jakub Kaszuba from Poland. Mitchell earned his place in the final after a TKO victory against Geisym Derouich. Kaszuba in the semi-finals made sure it would not be an all-Irish final after beating Dylan Tuke.
The fourth final of the night with $100,000 prize money is the Bantamweight final as Frans Mlambo takes on Khurshed Kakhorov. The Black Mambo, Mlambo arrives in Dublin after a split decision win against Mokhtar Benkaci. By unanimous decision, German Kakhorov won his place in the final against Ali Taleb.
Friday’s card is also full of other exciting fights including Lewis McGrillen. The human highlight-reel comes into his fight against Irish-based Latvian Matiss Zaharovs off the back of two knockouts in PFL Europe this year. The winner of this sensational match-up will qualify for PFL Europe 2024.
Qualification for PFL Europe 2024 is also on the line when ex Cage Warriors Bantamweight champion Dom Wooding, takes on Irishman Ben Davis and when Connor Hughes meets Sebastian Santana Guedes in a featherweight clash.
In front of what’s set to be a passionate and rowdy Dublin crowd, fan favourite Nathan Kelly returns to the Irish capital for the first time since 2022 to face France’s Dimitry Solimeis.
