An MMA fighter has gone viral after dropkicking his opponent during a furious press conference exchange. Check out the shocking footage below and make sure you watch until the end.

The incident took place during a PopMMA event earlier this week as two fighters in Russia squared off before their fight.

One of the fighters attempts to get in the other's head by swinging a punch, before they begin to throw kicks at one another.

Security intervenes and forces both men to sit with their respective teams and calm down. Spoiler alert, it only got worse from there.

The man on the left in a blue polo shirt is alleged to have said: "Let's solve this right here. You think I’m going to take a step back? Never!"

While they were cooling down on either side of the room, a window of opportunity opens for the man in the black jumper to sprint across the room and get a cheap shot.

Almost too perfectly, cameras had pulled back enough so there's a perfect view of the stage and the perfect angle for a sneak attack.

The man in the jumper, who can be identified as Atamah, unleashes a shotgun dropkick that catches his foe clean in the face and sends everyone down to the ground.

It's at this point everyone realises just how toxic the situation is and everyone is hauled away from stage.

Fans have reacted to the scenes and they've never seen anything like it.

One commented: "Isn’t the guy in the middle supposed to mediate these things? Dude immediately dips."

Another said: "Lol the sound of the footsteps is hilarious."

While a third put: "This is by far the best thing I’ve come across on the internet today."

The fight hasn't taken place yet but it's quite clear there will be bad blood as soon as the bell rings.
