Jon Jones reveals the secrets for 'performance in bed' to Alex Volkanovski and Rob Whittaker

Jon Jones has revealed a rather bizarre bedroom performance enhancer while in a hilarious conversation with fellow UFC stars Alex Volkanovski and Rob Whittaker.

The UFC legend returns to the Octagon for the first time in three years and steps straight into the heavyweight title scene as he takes on Ciryl Gane for the vacant belt.

Jones dominated the light heavyweight division for years, but his reign wasn’t without its controversies.

With his return fight just days away he’ll be hoping he avoids a similar incident that saw him ruled out of a mammoth fight against Daniel Cormier at UFC 200.

He tested positive for a banned substance ahead of the bout, which was later revealed to be a pill for erectile dysfunction.

However, in a light-hearted interview with Aussie sensations Volkanovski and Whittaker on Main Event’s Fight Week, he revealed he has some new methods to improve performance outside of the cage.

Jones quipped: “Sorry about talking about the pills.”

Whittaker then joking asked ‘what’s in the smoothie’, as he questioned whether it was eggs or protein.

Jones replied with a smile on his face: “Are we talking about nutrition, really?”

The UFC featherweight champion then just said what everyone was thinking: “Performance in bed.”

The 35-year-old winked as he replied: “I’ll let you in on a secret, it’s grapefruit, try a little grapefruit guys.”

It was a down-to-earth chat between the three UFC fighters who had a whole lot of respect for each other.

At one point Jones claimed he could see a similarity between Volkanvoski and a certain Hollywood star.

Jones remarked: “I’m getting Jason Statham vibes.

Volkanovski replied: “That’s the look I’m going for!”
