Conor McGregor hilariously responds to critics of his new beard-less look

Conor McGregor has hilariously responded to his harshest critics.

No, not the ones fed up with his lack of octagon action or even his sporadic tweet-and-delete posts, but instead those who aren't too fond of his new look.

The Irishman left a few fans shocked recently when he decided to shave off his iconic beard.

Not a big deal to most people, right?

Well, clearly not, because a lot of McGregor super-fans weren't too impressed with the new baby-faced look and he was subsequently called out for it on social media.

Now the UFC megastar has issued a response of his own.

In a new social media post, McGregor jokes: "F**k all yous talking bad about my beard ya’s’ll do nothin."

And in the pictures, he can be seen deliberately covering his face with his jacket.

It was clearly all fun and games as more people waded in in the comments section.

On Instagram, one person replied: "We made Conor self conscious about shaving his beard."

While another added: "Roadman McGregor."

Meanwhile, his coach John Kavanagh simply commented with a laughing emoji.

If your Average Joe came strolling into your work office with a new haircut or shaved beard, you probably wouldn't bat an eyelid.

But, as we all know, Conor McGregor isn't your 'Average Joe'.

So when the sweet-talking, tattoo-sporting Irishman decided to do just that, people were stunned.

On his original post, one user commented: "Who the fook is that guy hahahah who the fook is that."

Another simply stated: "No beard Conor makes an appearance."

"Not the beard lol dudeee," a third commiserated.

A final voiced: "You look hilariously funny without a beard. Looking like a disney movie train rider."

Beard or no beard, it's not going to stop McGregor from trying to return to the ring in 2023 after recovering from a broken leg.

However, one fan commiserated: "Conor shaved… he doesn’t look like a champion anymore."
