Khamzat Chimaev has responded to Colby Covington's brutal outburst and claims his rival has been 'lying' over a proposed fight.
Covington was the back-up fighter at UFC 286 and sat cageside for the main-event clash between Leon Edwards and Kamaru Usman.
He spoke to the media on fight night and absolutely ripped into Chimaev as he slammed his inability to make weight against Nate Diaz while branding him a 'dog-faced motherf**ker'.

"He talks all this sh*t, he said all these things about me in the media," the UFC welterweight contender exclaimed. "Of course, they’re gonna say things in the media. They don’t say things to my face or in the Octagon. He’s been saying, 'Oh, I want to fight for the title at 170, I want to fight Colby, this and that.'
"The guy quit to the common cold. The quit f**king on a weight cut when he had the best professionals at the UFC P.I. can offer. Millions of dollars were put into this guy in marketing, and he had the easiest fight in the division, the soy boy Nate Diaz. And he still couldn’t make weight.
"He missed weight by nine pounds, and he’s laughing it off like this is a f**king joke. He’s a f**king joke. The guy f**king sucks at fighting, he’s unprofessional, and I don’t want to ever hear that guy’s name again. You guys hype him up to be this great giant. The guy couldn’t hold my f**king jock strap."

Chimaev has wasted no time in responding, suggesting Covington doesn't want to fight him in the UFC.
The unbeaten UFC superstar claims to have accepted a fight against 'Chaos' on four occasions.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, he said: "Colby [Covington] is lying, he doesn’t want to fight.

"I swear with everything I have - I swear with the Gods. I accepted that fight four times - all the Muslims understand, I swear on the Quran. I get four times call, we’re going to fight, I say 'Yes'."
Referring to a conversation he had with the UFC matchmaker, he added: "I have a conversation with Sean Shelby - I can show it as well. We’re going to fight this guy. We’re going to fight with this guy, but it’s never happened."
'Borz' hasn't fought since his submission victory over Kevin Holland at UFC 279 last September.
His bout against Holland took place at 180lbs after he failed to make the welterweight limit for his original opponent Diaz.
