Finnish F1 star Valtteri Bottas has won the off-season.
The Alfa Romeo driver has been holidaying Down Under with his partner, Australian cyclist Tiffany Cromwell, following the end of the F1 season in November.
And clearly, he’s captured some of his inspiration from the locals with his latest look.

In a hilarious video posted to his social media, the 33-year-old showed off his striking transformation into a true blue Aussie bogan.
The Finnish driver can be seen having a coffee with Cromwell while checking out a meme titled ‘Australian millennial starter pack’.
Of course, a can of VB and a devilish mullet are a must.

He tells Cromwell: “It is nice to be back, but somehow I feel like I just don’t think I fit in.”
Bottas then reveals: “I think I’m going to change my style.”
The video cuts to the Finn making sitting down with an Aussie barber delicately transforming his shaggy hair to the ‘party at the back’ hairstyle.
With a free-flowing mullet atop his head, Bottas whips off his cape to reveal he is already wearing a VB singlet with a bottle of the classic Aussie beer already in hand.

Honestly, you’d be hard-pressed to find a more Aussie-looking bloke anywhere in the country.
I mean, his initials are already as Aussie as it gets.
He just needs a southern-cross tattoo to complete the look.
At the end of the clip, in his European accent, he says: “You beauty. Now I feel like home. I fit in.”

Cromwell quips: “As long as you’re happy.”
Racing fans and personalities were well and truly loving the new look.
Vincenzo Landino tweeted: “Hard not to love this Valterri Botas era.”
British broadcast Will Buxton said: “Absolutely majestic.”

Another fan wrote: “I couldn’t look more Aussie if I tried.”
A fourth added: “Valtteri Bottas had just won the off-season.”
After moving from Mercedes to Alfa Romeo, Bottas finished 10th in the 2022 drivers’ championship.
The next F1 campaign is due to begin in March 2023 with the Bahrain GP.
But I guess the question has to be begged: Will Bottas be representing Finland or Australia?
